Trans Fats
I have been told by my dietician to avoid Mono-and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids (sometimes listed as E471) because this means the product contains Trans Fats. No amount of trans fats are healthy. Seeing what trans fats do to the body, I will be throwing this in the bin and will look for a pasta containing simply maize or rice flour. Fed up with the food world making us ill.
Best GF pasta Ive found
The Braille Gluten Free pasta range is the best GF pasta around in my opinion. Other half is Coeliac, and we both enjoy this, tastes just like regular pasta. Would be nice if it was a little cheaper, but unfortunately most Gluten Free alternatives are on the pricey side.
Closest I’ve found to ‘normal’ pasta
I really like barilla pasta, much firmer than lots of G F brands, just wish it was cheaper.
