Vinification Details
Fruit of exceptional varietal intensity, tannin profile and brilliant colour. Vineyard blocks harvested and vinified separately. Fruit was fermented at controlled temperatures for up to 7 days to retain the elegant, vibrant varietal characters and soft tannin structure. Upon completion of fermentation, wine was racked and underwent malolactic fermentation. It was then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels to impart a softness and texture, and enhance bouquet, varietal character, elegance and structure.

Good

One of my favourite reds, smooth and fruity.

sour

Unfortunately I didn't like this wine. Having read the other reviews I was hoping I would but just found the bottle faint, uninspired, and bland. Easy to drink, but that's all i can say about it. Quite sour too. I'm posting this to remind myself not to but this again

Very enjoyable

Soft, velvety and medium to full bodied. I enjoyed this. Disappointed by the screw top but then that is a good indication that it should be drunk now rather than preserved for posterity! I took my cue from that! ;-)

Not worth the price

I prefer more fruit and depth and I expected more for the price. If you like a smooth wine without a lot of fruit you will like it but for me there are much nicer wines for half the price.
