Preparation and Usage
Hob: Empty contents into a saucepan and heat gently for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do Not Boil.
Microwave: Cat D 750W - 3 1/2 mins, Cat E 850W - 3 mins.
Empty contents into a microwaveable container and cover. Stir halfway through cooking.
Please Note: All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
Check product is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat once cooled.

used as a curry base
bought two on offer, after the first one , that I did not really enjoy. I used the next one as a starter for curry, as I will not waste good food, I love Baxters on the whole but not this one
Rice?!
I thought this was just a regular tomato soup, but it contains rice. Strangely there is no mention of this in the description on the tin, only listed in the ingredients. I thought it was a very odd thing to have in soup and not pleasant. I would not have purchased it had a known about the rice.

My fave tinned soup, this is a cupboard essential for me! Lots of veg, great taste.
incorrect calorie count
The calories per 100g are actually 52, not 32! The soup is nice, but it's been incorrectly shown by Ocado which is really poor. Ocado - please sort this out!
Welcome back Baxters
Great to see Baxter’s soup back on Ocado and this is one of their best, lovely, Mediterranean, flavours, like a light minestrone.

Grabbed this for my work lunch thinking it was the Baxter's bean and bacon one (which is very delicious) Thought this one was very watery and really didn't feel full afterwards. It was good to try something else but will in future stick to the one I like.
