Leaked
I can't comment on how this tasted because it leaked everywhere even though the cap was sealed. Total waste of money which I am happy to say Ocado rectified for me. Make sure you keep the bottle upright - although when the outside foil is present and the lid is sealed, should you really have to? How well are the contents protected from the elements? If some can get out, surely bacteria can get in?
Quality Product
Belazu has it in their mission statement to bring restaurant quality food to the dining room table and this is another example of them doing this with their white truffle oil. Use sparingly for a subtle but exquisitely delicate flavour to all your favourite Italian dishes. Love it!
Delicious truffle oil
I've been buying this delicious truffle oil for several years and it's superb. I add a teaspoon to mashed potato (mash for 2) and drizzle it on top of soups, pasta, omelettes, and never leave it out of scrambled eggs. Go easy when adding it, it's definitely possible to add too much and overpower whatever dish you're adding it to. It is expensive but well worth it in my view and it lasts for ages.
Truffle flavour
I am addicted to this truffle oil, it has a nice strong but not overwhelming flavour. I add it to potatoes and eggs and it transforms the dish to the delight of the palate. I have tried many truffle oils but this by far is the most delicious. I can never be without it!!!!
