All you need is:
125ml vegetable oil (8tbsp + 1tsp) or 120g melted butter
230ml water or 230ml milk
3 medium eggs
1 tub of Betty Crocker™ Tempting Chocolate Icing
Prep time 10 mins
Baking time 23-28 mins
Two 20cm cake tins or Two 12 cupcake muffin tins (and 24 cupcake cases)
3 simple steps!
Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 4. For cupcakes use fan assisted oven 160°C.
Grease tins and preferably line base with baking parchment or greaseproof paper. For cupcakes line 2 regular muffin tins with cupcake cases.
1 Beat the eggs, water, oil and cake mix (or eggs, milk, butter and cake mix) together and whisk (by hand or electric mixer) for 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
2. Pour into tins. For cupcakes pour mixture into the cupcake cases.
3. Bake for 23-28 minutes or until rounded knife inserted in centre comes out clean. For cupcakes bake the 2 muffin tins at the same time for 18-22 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in tins then remove from tins. Let to cool completely, fill and ice with Betty Crocker™ Tempting Chocolate Icing.

Didn't taste of much just sweet. The Cadbury one is much nicer. Tried this because of reviews but I disagree it's not very nice at all.
Nice cake … very tasty … soon eaten.
Ocado sent me this to review. It makes a great cake - or cupcakes. Only thing to be mindful of is that you need to buy the buttercream separately if you want to build the cake on the box - we didn’t bother and the the cake was lovely by itself, dusted with a little powdered sugar.

best chocolate cake my mum has ever tasted!
I was sent this for free to review. I hadn't made cake from a mix since I was at school and I don't remember them being brilliant - this one was excellent though. My 4 year old did the mixing, it was really quick and easy, and the cake turned out really well. I used the same brand's icing which was delicious. Excellent review from all the family!
Nice cake
I got this to review and was a bit sceptical having never used a packet mix before, however I was quite impressed as it turned out to be a nice cake, moist and very easy to make.
easy peasy mix
I was given this free by Ocado to review. Great standby chocolate cake mix and handy that it gives the option of a cupcake recipe too. Not far off the flavour of a fully home made cake.
