easy
quick and easy, made a good tasting vanillary cake, ideal topped with Tim's St Clements yoghurt icing drizzle I made with just yoghurt and icing sugar.
Very surprised
I do not usually use packet mixes for cakes but I had this in the cupboard and was pushed for time so I gave it a go and I was so surprised at the outcome, It rose very well (Just like on the box) I did use milk instead of water, it was very light and fluffy, I added buttercream and jam and hey presto a lovely cake which was loved by all.
always a good thing to have
It saves on preparation so sometimes I just use it , not that I cant make it from scratch but thats convenient
Tastes quite good
Plain is pretty tasty and have bought it 3 tines. Added apples and cloves on one occasion which was a delicious twist.
Turned out perfect!
This is really handy to have on hand for last minute cake when you've run out of flour. Had to make one last minute for my grandsons birthday. It was one of the best cakes I have made (I usually make my own). I followed the instructions but added milk instead of water and some extra vanilla essence. The cake was fresh tasting and everyone loved it adults and children alike. There wasn't a slice left. I was surprised how lovely it was myself, it really was very moist and fresh tasting cake.
Surprisingly delicious
Didnt expect much from a packet cake - but this was moist, fluffy and delicious. Had many compliments on how great the cake tasted!
