lovely but expensive
Its now 90p cheaper at the health store So placed my order there
Lovely but Ocado expensive!
It is 80p cheaper at a well know health store...
Great honey... nothing wrong with a plastic bottle
Ignore Clothmama... judging by the reviews she's had too much GMO. The picture clearly shows a plastic bottle so if she's got a problem with it then why buy in the first place hey? Honey is delicious in all forms - glass jars and plastic bottles - nectar of the gods straight to your door.
like and dislike!
We both like and dislike this product... We like the taste and texture of it and the product is quite versatile. However, given that this product is likely to be one purchased for its health benefits, it is quite surprising that it is in a plastic bottle- the main thing that most people who are educated about health are trying to avoid!!! I wouldn't feed my children from plastic bottles or cups, so I find the idea of giving them food that could have been stored for many months in a plastic bottle which may have leached chemicals into the food, quite disturbing. The manufacturers acknowledge there is a problem with plastic products, as they supply baked beans in glass jars instead of plastic lined tins, among other products that are usually in plastic. Because of this, I will be researching a similar product which is supplied in glass instead of plastic. Shame as the product is lovely and we like that it is organic. Hope the manufacturers wake up before they lose more loyal customers!
Wonderful in every way
This is a lovely product. I kept reading about the health and dietary benefits of agave syrup and wanted to try it but hesitated initially because the price seemed high for something I knew very little about. But it's worth every penny and the price is actually quite reasonable because a small amount of the syrup goes a long way. The taste and texture are superb. The packaging is excellent - makes it easy to store and to use, so much moreso than honey. I like Biona products generally. Go for it!
