Delicious vegan toast topping
I was unsure about this on the first try, but now I love it! Yes - it does have a bit of a strange, thick consistency, but I just heat a blob in the microwave for 30 seconds then it spreads on sourdough toast just fine. Its rich, thick and chocolatey, with a delicious coconut taste! Plus, it has only 3 natural ingredients and suits my dairy-free breakfast needs :) a real treat in the morning and alternative to my beloved peanut butter!
tastes nice but!
But its so hard you can not spread it! Such a shame as it doesnt contain any nasty added oils!
divided
In the one hand I love the flavour - deep chocolatey gorgeousness! But It is very thick consistency and not really spreadable. Wonderful with smoothies if you manage to get it out of the jar or just eat a spoon at a time.
Hmm...
Not sure this is going to be a favourite forevermore possibly a grower. It ticks the ingredients boxes, tho I'm not sure about the treacly aftertaste (the blossom syrup?). I tried it on warm rice cakes. Tricky, because it certainly isn't easy to spread. Maybe better during the summer months, or stored in a warm kitchen?
The spread that doesn`t spread
It`s too think and solid to spread! doesn't taste much like choccolate!
Odd
This is a very odd texture and not a very special flavour. The texture is thick and slightly waxy, it needs to be heated like a fudge sauce, but it's sold as a spread. it didnt spread well. The flavour is strangely thin, no deep satisfying chocolate until the very end, by which time youre contending with lots of ground coconut texture left on your tongue. Not unpleasant, but i didnt really know what to do with it. its too thick to spread, it's not really chocolatey enough to bake with and too thick to work with anyway.
