Yum but why add sugar when it's not needed

It needs toasting for agessss to crisp up but it's nutty and flavourful and filling. Like many products out there, I find it baffling when sugar is added when it's just so unnecessary. It really puts me off so I won't be buying it again.

Delicious!

I love this bread and its wheat free. I find it freezes very well too, you just need to interleave with greaseproof paper. As someone who has to avoid wheat I can really recommend this bread it is delicious.

Healthy bread

I find it delicious and keeps me regulated and healthy. I eat it all the time nice with slice of regular bread.

Only if no other pumpernickel

Compared to a German brand that I usually buy, this is too sour and not malty enough. I’d say it’s closer to regular bread than to pumpernickel. Good as an alternative hence the German one is hard to find, but no more than that.

Nice!

This is a toaster-friendly size - you don't need to slice it in half to make it fit like the other rye breads of this brand. Tastes a little bit sweeter and does not crisp up as much as the other Biona ryes. Still delicious, though.
