tasty
The best indeed I will order again
no zip lock anymore?!
Without the ziplock there is no reason to buy a giant pack and lose peas in the freezer!
Three bags of peas had grit in
Always loved these peas but sadly won’t buy them again, the gritty texture is really horrible on the teeth. Never used to be a thing (but seems to be one now)
Have we gone back to the 70s???
I buy this product regularly however I could not believe my delivery of them 2 days ago, the bag has changed, flimsy cheap packaging with no zip seal and no fresh foil kind of bag. I felt I’d been dragged back to my 70s childhood when mum was continually moaning about the peas falling out of the bag in the freezer, and the lack of freshness from the flimsy cheap packaging, If you are going to buy these I’d say a big NO , DO NOT do it, I was almost tempted to throw on my platforms and flares and go meet my mum on her way home from bingo. Reminiscing is great but this new , but old, packaging is definitely not, birds eye should be ashamed of themselves cost cutting at the expense of their loyal customers. Also note to Birds eye, plastic is not the issue , ignorant people are the issue who have no respect for the environment.!
Nice peas but...
Nice peas but like another reviewer I've had two bags which have been gritty. Hopefully it's just a hitch in their production process which will be cleared up soon. I've been buying these for years and they've always been very good.
Grit.
Never bought any other brand of peas until now because the last two bags of Birds Eye peas were gritty. Thought the first bag was a 'one-off' but no, second lot were gritty too.
