Mild Chili Flavour
The oil is excellent quality & the chilli kick is medium rather than spicy hot. Adds a punch to stir fries & is particularly good drizzled over salads. Highly recommended & will definitely buy again.
very spicy and very nice
We love this. I use it to cook with and have lovely quick spicy potatoes. You dont need much for a good kick of spice
Hmm
Okay, this isn't terrible. But it's extremely mediocre in taste compared to the Filippo Berio olive oil version. You don't get much heat with this, but you can taste the oil quite strongly. I personally don't like it, but if you enjoy the taste of rapeseed its probably fine.
I love it
great for a stir fry or any veg prep for a spicy meal
Great chilli infused oil
I've ordered this a few times now and the quality has remained consistently good. What one person regards as 'hot' can be quite different to the next, so I will say that as someone who has always cooked with and eaten chilli-fied foods, I can taste the chilli 'kick' to this oil. It's not overpowering but it is there to add to the flavour of the oil itself. Good for frying up chick peas, kidney beans, veggie burgers/sausages etc. It would work well to fry onion, garlic, carrots etc in as the base for a soup too.
Good Oil with a kick
Good tasting oil, always have it in now as i’m a bit of chilli fiend... it’s great to give some heat to base sauces for tomato dishes, curry or chili, or when oven roasting meat and or veg such as aubergines, tomatoes, courgettes, potatoes etc or for BBQing. Not too hot, but just right..the more you use the hotter it gets..I often mix it with a lemon olive oil too, which gives great tasting results.
