Product information

Delicious, tender white beans ready for salads and cooking.
Conservas Artesanas “El Navarrico” was established by the Salcedos in 1960. Their children and grandchildren now run the business. Monjardín is El Navarrico's select and entirely organic range.
For over 20 years El Navarrico has been committed to working with organic farmers and growers. All Monjardín organic products are made with exceptional ingredients and great care.
Some bean cooking results in an accompanying liquid that is thin, and not always pleasant. The slow and careful cooking of Monjardín’s excellent beans produces a rich, stock-like liquid.
Monjardín Organic Haricots are some of the creamiest and most flavoursome cooked beans you can buy.

Nice quality beans

Much nicer quality than standard tins we thought, worth the extra for the taste and texture.

Perfect

For Tonno e Fagioli where beans are the star of the show,, these beans lived up to their star billing.

Jelly

There is quite a lot of jelly on the top from the liquid, made it hard to get it out of the jar without it going all mushy. Taste wise it was perfectly fine. Nowhere in the league as their butter beans.

Delicious and soft. Hard to find beans which are not grown in China.

Bean heaven

You need to be really care when getting these out of the jar, otherwise they can turn to mush. Remove them, rinse and add to a tomato and chorizo stew. A lovely vegetarian dinner. No comparison to the tinned version
