great bourbon
been trying all the bourbons around this price point and this is my favourite - rich slightly sweet taste, goes down great neat or in cocktails
Buliet
Great cocktail bourbon, easy drinking with ice alone, spicy notes on the throat, but bourbon characteristics are their nice warm drink a must try for any bourbon lover !
Great for old fashioned
lovely bourbon for making old fashioneds. Good value when on promo
Best bourbon at this price point
Ive tried all the bourbons around this price - and I like all of them actually - and this one comes out on top. A little sweetness and a light kick of spice: lovely easy drinking.
Great Bourbon
Beautiful all rounder, be it neat or mixed.. delivers on both fronts.
Mad Max Fury Road
I love this Bourbon! It's amongst my very favourites and currently the one I buy the most regularly. What I like so much about it is that it's really thick and mellow to drink straight yet has this aftertaste that can only be described as mean and hellish. Whereas Bulleit's other harsher offering Bulleit Rye has a sweet, angelic almost cherry taste to it, this one tastes like smoke, fire and burning gasoline, and I mean that in a good way, a really good way. It's the most bad ass tasting drink there is and I sum it up nicely by saying it tastes like Mad Max Fury Road. I can't recommend it highly enough. If I'm after a sweet, heavenly bourbon I go for Bulleit Rye or Makers Mark, which are two of my other favourites, but if after something a little more evil I go for Bulleit Bourbon. Funny thing is that it's more mellow to drink than either of those or most other bourbons. They really have conjured something special here. I read a review once saying it wasn't a sophisticated tasting bourbon but it's a great bourbon for what it is regardless. That's true. This isn't sophisticated or classy bourbon but it's the most bad ass bourbon I've ever tasted and that's more my thing. I don't know why Jack Daniels is considered the most rock n roll drink when there's no competition - it's clearly Bulleit Bourbon!
