expensive and very average
This wine is not worth the quoted price. inconsistent, thin and not a great taste for the price. Don't bother
Weird taste
Very bitter after taste, not sure if we get the bad batch
Wrong vintage
I got a 2012 bottle rather than the award winning 2014 advertised. Disappointing vintage.
disappointing
For a 2012 Rioja Reserve retailing at £13 I expect a pretty decent wine. What this has resulted in was a thin wine that needed close to four hours to breathe, to only marginally improve. There are much better Riojas for less.
wrong vintage
This wine is being advertised as 2006 but Ocado delivers 2012 vintage instead. The difference is that the 2006 is an award winning outstanding wine whereas the 2012 is an average wine. Ocado should not be doing false advertising.
Too young
This wine was not up to any standard. Too young, didnt feel like it was aged in barrel over 20 minutes, let alone be a reserva or more. Too fruity, no character and generally could have done with a bit of depth in character. It was a let down for me. If you are after a characterful wine with a bit of depth, this isnt the one.
