Enjoyable Merlot
I like to keep a small bottle of wine around and found this preferable to the one I've bought previously. It's described as 13.5% and that's what it says on the label. I found it a very pleasant merlot, moderately potent, but not full of tannins. Ididn't find any sediment, but it wouldn'thave bothered me had I done so. It was also a glass bottle. I shall be switching to this for my future purchases.
handy and good
I don't drink a lot these days so these are the perfect serve. it's nothing exciting but give it a good whisking with a fork in the glass to aerate it and it will taste much better. really.
Sediment in the bottom
The wine is ok for easy drinking, but I was disappointed when I encountered sediment at the bottom of my glass. I won't buy again.
Disappointed
Not drinkable.Should have paid heed to reviews.
Wrong information
I am no wine expert, but I do care about alcohol content, and although the information says it is 12%, the bottles clearly say 14%
used for cooking
I don't drink wine (shock horror) but I use it in my cooking which means the small bottles are perfect. This wine brings out such a fab flavour to my meat dishes so will be buying regularly.
