Disappointing
Not much taste
Good but not refried beans
I'm surprised not more reviews highlight that these are defintiely not refried beans. They're just a bean side dish really, full sized beans, not mashed up at all. Tasty but I bought them to serve with chips and they were a bit hard to eat. I'll stick with luchito from now on.
Too sweet
The British have a sweet tooth, but there is no need to add sugar to a savoury product and change it's nature. . It's also expensive for size. Kids only!
Not appealing
I was given this product to review by Ocado. I can't really see the attraction of refried beans. They tasted as they were supposed to do but they don't look particularly attractive on the plate and I think there are better accompaniments you could get for your Mexican meal.
Great flavour
Enjoyed the flavour, but not the texture.
Tasty beans
I really enjoyed these, they taste delicious! True that the consistency it’s a bit mushy, squashed in a burrito it’s fine... but as they were tasting so good I ate some by the spoon and yes, to be eaten by themselves the texture feels weird. Trying the black ones now!
