Ch Bru Lagardette Cahors 75cl
£16
£16 per 75clProduct information
A first choice for your fuller flaoured or spicey dishes. Hearty and warm, the wine works really well.
My favourite from the home of the Malbec grape. Quite powerful but not overpowering and works brilliantly with the cranberry sauce, stuffings and gravy, plus the turkey of course. This French Malbec also loves strong full flavoured cheese, both hard and soft. Light whispy spice undertones with crunchy bitter cherries. Wonderful.

too dry and sour
Like drinking a cigar. Even my husband couldnt finish a glass! Dont understand why its so expensive.
yuck
no wonder it's half price, it's horrible. overly oaky up front, but then with a sour finish. avoid!
Quite awful really
Malbec is my favourite grape and the folk around Cahors do it justice, but this example is hugely disappointing. It has no ripe fruit, no body and a slight bitter edge to the palette that lingers. If somebody had paid £15 for this they would feel robbed. Even at half price I wouldn't buy it again, indeed if it were free I would still decline. Who on earth wrote those Ocado tasting notes?????
Not worth £9 on offer, let alone £15
I found this over dry with a bitter taste. Not good on its own and strangely worse with food.
Nice change to malbec
Nice intense wine. Good value when I bought on offer. buy if like argie malbec as slightly different
very nice Malbec
A lovely wine we been having it since 2009 and consistently a great experience.
