Electric 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas Mark 7 (+5 mins), 22 Mins
Please don't grill!
1 Pre-heat oven. Remove the film, then lift the salmon en croutes out of their wooden tray with the greaseproof paper and place them directly on a baking tray. For best results, brush the pastry with milk or whisked egg.
2 Place the baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 22 mins.
3 Leave to stand for 2 mins before serving. Make sure it's piping hot.
This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Delicious!
I can't understand the bad reviews, I have bought this Salmon en Croute many times, it's an absolute winner in our house, crispy golden pastry, moist flavoursome Salmon, tasty spinach and lovely sauce. Nice with buttered greens, carrots and crushed potatoes. Can highly recommend!
Too salty and not enough salmon
I think this should be called a spinach en croute, because there was more spinach then salmon. The spinach and sauce were salty, while the salmon didn't really have taste, it was also dry. I forced myself to finish this, even with a salad it was a struggle.
Tasty, tasty, very, very tasty.
Recommended. Crispy pastry, succulent salmon with a creamy sauce. Looking forward to having them again.
Raw pastry
I am a fan of Charlie Bigham but weve had this twice now. Thought first time wed added too much egg glaze. But no, pastry was again uncooked and inedible. Wont be ordering again.
One of our favourites
So good ! Decent amount of salmon , lovely sauce inside & perfect crisp pastry. I cook ours in the Airfryer and it is perfection everytime ! Xx
Great for a quick delicious dinner
I have to be honest I didnt have high expectations of these salmon encroutes based on other reviews and as they are much cheaper than others listed. However, they were tasty, easy to cook and excellent value for money. I would recommend them.
