One of the best teas out there
Absolutely love this tea. The flavour is amazing if the tea bag is left in
long steep and add lemon
Good if you give it time. I use a large cup with a lid that keeps the heat in well, pre-warm it, then use two bags and leave them to steep for at least half an hour, often longer. Then squeeze in quite a lot of lemon juice.
Unbelievably sweet
I drink black tea no sugar and love licquorice- but this infusion is disgustingly sweet - could hardly taste the licquorice. Full box now in the compost bin. Yuk!
Good tea but TEA\-DRINKERS PLEASE NOTE
This is a lovely tea; all Clipper herbal teas are quality tea and good value. BUT I wrote this review because a lot of people are not aware that eating too much liquorice is bad for the heart, and that liquorice tea can contribute to this. The NHS says: "you should avoid eating large amounts of black liquorice over a short space of time. If you have been eating a lot of black liquorice and have heart palpitations, muscle weakness or other health-related problems, stop eating it immediately and seek medical advice." The fact that liquorice tea does count in this regard is evident in recent cases of people who were not aware that they should limit their intake. It's a great tea, sweet and healthy, but there should be a warning on the packet that too much of a good thing is dangerous. Stay safe out there, tea guzzlers!
Delicious Licorice
Tastes heavenly and, bizarrely, soothes my reflux. We love this tea in our house 😍😍😍
Good strong flavour
Delicious tea - you can really taste the liquorice and its natural sweetness. Usually find Clipper teas have more flavour than other brands, hence they are always my first choice.
