So not buy. Well within eat by date
Shards of plastic in tin
Found around 10 pieces of plastic throughout my last tin of these - a couple so sharp one pierced my finger when rinsing it to work out what it was. Super dangerous, please avoid!
rancid
The anchovies were well within their expiry date abut when I opened the tin they exploded foul smelling oil everywhere so I didnt even want to try an anchovy. From reading similar reviews must be a bad batch or something
rancid
These are the most disgusting anchovies ever. They smelt revolting so I didnt even bother to use them & the tin was within its expiry date. I will never, ever buy these again. Poor, poor quality
Two tins badly off!
Have had two tins of these. They fizzed when I opened them and smelt absolutely rancid. So strong - I cannot get rid of the smell from my hands! Will not buy again. They were in date by a considerable time too! Has put me off anchovies which I love!
Rancid
Last time I bought these they smelled and tasted absolutely disgusting. I'll never buy them again and I'm just glad I managed to avoid getting ill from them - from now on I buy the more expensive ones in olive oil that don't taste like excrement
