Yum!
We really enjoyed this. I added a bit of (vegan Philadelphia) cream cheese and used extra stock instead of wine as I didn't fancy the rest of a bottle on a Tuesday night but it was really nice.
Decent.
This is actually not that bad, plenty enough for two people. Next time I'd remove the dried peas as they didn't do anything for this Risotto, then pop in a few frozen ones. We added a bit of Parmesan Cheese which enhanced it and would most probably add a dollop of Crème Fraiche as well. If cooked as instructed, you shouldn't get a gloopy sticky mess. We like it.
Easy Peary
Nice quick easy meal to make. Husband said he enjoyed the flavour, added Parmesan to make it a bit more interesting.
Handy for the cupboard.
Makes a great base for a tasty risotto. Add some chicken stock, grana padano, a little cream and a splash of tabasco. Yummy!
Okay
Needs seasoning but otherwise pleasant and quick. I would prefer it without the peas added as they came out tasting and looking pretty sad.
A good basic risotto
Very easy to cook, just add water, wine and oil and leave to it's own devices with the odd stir every now and then. Add butter at the end and a good grating of Parmesan and you are good to go after 15 minutes. I thought that it tasted very nice and I will be buying this again as an easy meal.
