vinegar taste
The peppers are firm and sweet and this is a used store cupboard ingredient. However, the overwhelming flavour is that of vinegar so they only work for certain dishes. Its a shame theres not an option to buy them in oil.
Perfect store cupboard ingredient
Ideal for rustling up a quick meal with pasta and fetta or adding to a tomato meat/vegetarian sauce or even a spicy soup. Great whole peppers, Ive not had any that are just bits. Im sure there will be even tastier versions but not for this price so I just keep buying them.
smelt terrible
Smelled like vomit. Couldnt use them - had to throw them out as soon as I opened them. Not like other jarred ones Ive used before.
Best peppers (in a jar)
Not sure about the negative reviews. Yes, roasting fresh peppers would be better but who has the time for that? These taste excellent and a decent size (others are chopped too small). A great cupboard staple.
Excellent roasted peppers
Clearly not as good as doing it yourself, but a really convenient high quality product. Note: Mine are used for hot dishes, never tried them in a salad.
Not whole peppers
Had a jar of small shreds and not whole peppers so could not get them out of the jar threw away - shame!
