Preparation and Usage
Our Countryman's polenta uses traditional Italian cornmeal combined with a selection of rustic vegetables and herbs. We love to fry the polenta as a delicious snack, or you can even serve it as a an alternative to pasta, rice or potato.
Items to add
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, finely grated Parmesan cheese (to taste).
Cooking instructions
Serves 2. Bring 750ml salted water to boil in a saucepan. Add the pack contents and reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in the olive oil and serve with grated Parmesan cheese. Alternatively, pour into a tray and leave to set. Slice and fry for 3-4 minutes each side.

Nothing special
Found this product quite bland. Was expecting better. Would't purchase in future.
Not for my family
Received this as a free sample. Plain polenta has not gone down well with my family in the past, but I thought that was down to my preparation and it's blandness. Sadly, this did not change their opinion of polenta; it was still a horrid texture and fairly tasteless. I guess that if you like polenta this would be good, but it really isn't to my family's liking.

This was quick and easy to prepare and attractively packaged. The taste and texture was good but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other brands of polenta. Would repurchase but not a stand out item.
Nicer fried...
Initially found this very coarse and grainy, however after letting it set and frying it, it was surprisingly delicious and the texture much improved. However if this was not fried I don't think I would like it!
