Preparation and Usage
Our Mediterranean risotto uses premium Italian carnaroli rice and its subtle flavour makes it the perfect accompaniment to any meat or fish. Why not serve on its own with a sprinkling of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for a simple yet tasty dish.
Items to add
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 500ml vegetable stock, 100ml white wine, a knob of butter, finely grated Parmesan cheese (to taste).

Bland
Admittedly I didn't add wine because I didn't have any but this was tasteless and ended up adding a lot of cheese, pepper and more salt. For the price, definitely won't buy again.
Great Purchase
This is great if you are stuck for time to make your own, you can spruce up with chicken, more parmesan and wine...
lovely with a little something extra....
This is a store cupboard staple- add a chopped salmon or chicken fillet or some chunky mushrooms and chorizo and it's brilliant and more than enough for 2 adults. For the 2 children I use half a packet.
ok if you're feeling lazy
But the risotto itself is really quite bland. I added chicken, scallops and porcini mushrooms to liven it up a bit. Easy to cook though, so handy in a hurry.

This risotto was really nice as a good starting point to a meal, but as with other reviews I did feel a little something was needed to make it really tasty, I added chicken, sundried tomatoes and chilli flakes and then it was perfect
