Heaps of flavour
I just found a forgotten jar of these at the back of the larder, never having tried them before, and thought "Waste not want not, ignore the date... " Result: some made it to the pizza, but the rest ended up as cook's perks and I ate them just as they were. Delicious – a real pop of flavour for any dish or just as a snack. No bitterness, just the right balance of heat, tanginess, and sweetness, and thin skins. Definitely one for the favourites list.
Lid very difficult to open
I really wanted to enjoy these with a salad but as I couldn't even get the lid open could not taste them. Sigh. I don't the skins on fresh tomatoes so will have to stick to tins. Jars are not usually a problem for me.
Horrible
Dreadful "chemical" type smell from jar upon opening. Tasted "chemical". Too much vinegar. Awful. My husband loves all kinds of peppers, but after tasting agreed with me, horrible. Binned.
