Unfortunately not for me
My bad for not reading the labelling prior to purchasing, which said it had cow's milk as part of the ingredients. Nor good on my tummy and another expensive range on ocado's limited range of halloumi.
Best halloumi
I have been buying this branded halloumi for years and never disappoints. My go to brand for halloumi everyday
Tastes great
Perfect for halloumi wraps
Perfect for cooking!
I've been buying this Cypressa Halloumi for years. It's perfect when it's cooked, so we often use it for toasting, barbecuing, grilling and frying. It's not my choice for sandwiches unless it's toasted or grilled. A cooked slice or two as part of a GrEnglish brekkie (the anglo-Cypriot version of the Full English) is delicious, as is grating it with mild cheddar and herbs to make Greek Tiropittes (also known as cheese triangles or boreks - Spanakopitta without the spinach!). If you rinse your halloumi when you take it out of the pack to get rid of the brine, you can dry it fully with a paper towel and store it in the fridge in either a food bag or a food-safe container and it will keep for ages. Plus, there will be no odour from cooked brine when you grill it.
great halloumi
Nice taste. I love it on the grill or in a fajita. Smoth and tasty
