Salty but tasty
This is a really delicious cheese and very different to other soft cheeses. It is quite salty but that is part of its charm, we found it very moreish and it made a nice addition to the cheeseboard.
overripe
If this cheese had been anything but overripe it might have been quite tasty but this had been hanging around the Ocado fridge for far too long. Supposedly with a use by date of over a week if Id been in a supermarket I would have left it on the shelf. Ended up throwing it away. Beware!
love it!
Very creamy texture. Its a bit stronger cheese and more salty than a brie or pie dangloys but still good. I got it on flash sale and if i see it again, will repurchase.
I guess it varies!
Bought once, it was fairly mild and soft brie-like cheese. Towards the centre the cheese had hardened a little and the taste was definitely stronger there. I didn't find it too strong, and I didn't find it too salty either. Would happily buy again.
If I could give a 0 I would. Inedible bc of
excessive salt. Ruined a good textured cheese with excellent maturity on the rind with excessive salt that destroys all the flavour. We sent a complaint to Ocado bc it’s the only organic cheese of this nature available. Definitely steer clear. We’re not exaggerating about the salt level.
Deteriorating quality
I have had this product many times and always enjoyed it. However, recently, the cheese has become very salty and unpleasant to eat.
