Our love for food inspires us to go further We've been farming organically for over 35 years, meaning our animals enjoy their natural grass and forage-based diet, growing into strong and healthy animals, free from unnecessary chemicals, antibiotics and GM feed. We choose British breeds who thrive in their native landscape and encourage healthy biodiversity on our farm. We avoid waste of any kind, so manure and kitchen waste compost are returned to the soil as rich natural fertilisers. We have built our own abattoir to ensure the highest animal welfare and reduced food miles, which results in better tasting meat, and we spread our message far beyond the boundaries of our own fields. Each step of our journey is made with a conscience, and a love for food. |

perfectly cooked, juicy sausages our head chef recommends: To Fry or Griddle: Cook with a little oil on a medium heat for 4-6 minutes, turning regularly until a nice golden brown colour all over. Place in a preheated oven at 180¿C (160¿C fan)/Gas mk 4 for approximately 8-10 minutes until cooked through with no pink meat in the middle and enjoy. To Grill: Cook with a little oil under a medium preheated grill for 10-12 minutes, turning regularly until a nice golden brown colour all over and cooked through with no pink meat in the middle and enjoy. Wash hands, knives and surfaces thoroughly before and after preparing raw meat. |

These used to be my absolute favourite sausages but then the water and breadcrumbs moved in. Dreadful shame.
not nice at all!
The sausages were expensive. I dont mind paying the price if they are worth it. These are not. Not a very nice taste and the sausage skins were so thick. Wont be buying them again yuk!
small, but rather nice
The casings, which people seem to dislike so much, are proper skins, not the usual fakery one gets. There is possibly too much nutmeg in them , but I like the flavour, and am very happy I bought them.
Non organic casing?
What on earth is a company selling itself on organic products making sausages with non organic casings? They were tough, stringy, chewy and, it seems, indigestible as they gave me a terrible stomach ache. It would be nice to know what they are made from in the ingredients. Cellulose? Collagen? Plastic? The actual sausages did not smell or taste nice.
Grey
They came grey colour so went straight into the bin! Vacuum packaging Daylesford?
Awful!
These were by far the most awful food I have ever tasted! I took a single bite which tasted, and had the texture of, a very unpleasant pate. They smelt horrible too. Even my dear little wouldn’t accept a bite!
