Preparation and Usage
For
perfectly cooked beef, our head chef recommends: Pan Fry Steak: Heat a little oil in a pan until searing hot, season the steak with sea salt and ground black pepper. Add steak to the hot pan. Seal on high heat on each side until golden-brown. Reduce to a medium heat and cook according to the thickness of the steak and your preference, turning regularly. We find the usual amount of time is between 5-10 minutes. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving for tender, succulent steaks. Grill Steak: Preheat grill to a medium heat. Brush with oil and season well with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place under the grill and cook according to the thickness of the steak and your preference, turning half way through cooking time. We find the usual amount of time is between 5-10 minutes. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Wash hands, knives and surfaces thoroughly before and after preparing raw meat. |

tough as old boots
I should have read the reviews, cooked as instructed and meat rested but so tough chewey and sinuey, spoilt mealtime, never buy again.
Wow awful
I am usually very good at cooking beef but this was just awful.
Incredibly tough and chewy
This had little flavour and was very tough despite a quick flash cook. Wont be buying again and not worth the price tag.
Way too tough
Flash sale, but still not that cheap, considering how tough it was and that's despite cooking it very slowly. I won't be buying this again.
Inedible Rough-Cut of Gristle and Fat
These so called minute steaks were really disappointing. They were so full of fat and gristle, they were barely edible. These were certainly note minute steaks by definition, really unevenly cut with fat and gristle running in every direction so near impossible to avoid. It was a real shame as weve had some decent stuff from Daylesford. Would not recommend
Terrible
Tough and tasteless. No way could you make a minute steak sandwich with it.
