They were old wrinkled almonds, some tasted really bad too.

Stale and lifeless

Outrageously priced for old and stale stock.

expensive but best I've eaten

Maybe we just got some good batches, but our orders have been perfect -- fresh, full of flavour and not rancid in the least. I read the previous reviews about bitterness, but all I can say is that that's not been our experience.

best almonds

I always by those almonds. I think they're the best currently available. They do need to be eaten relatively quickly though as they go stale within a week or so after opening.
