Daylesford Organic Whole Milk Unhomogenised 1L

£1.70 per litreProduct information
Grazing on flower-rich grass pastures and nutritious forage rooted in fully-certified organic soil, the herd of healthy, happy cows produce traditional-style milk for healthier, happier families. We milk our cows twice a day, right next to the lush green meadows they call home, then pasteurise and pour the milk right on our farm.
We don't homogenise our milk, to preserve its goodness. This means the cream rises to the top so you might want to shake it before enjoying - you really are getting the cream of organic milks.

why this plastic bag?
Great milk but why in a plastic bag?!?!
Unhomogenised milk fan
Got this to try as annoyingly my milkman stopped selling unhomogenised milk after 30 years. This is not as good as that was although it is cheaper but having had the convenience of milk in bottles I have to say the packaging it comes in is useless and detrimental to the product. Luckily I have a milk bottles and reusable tops still so we decanted it into that to use. Milk is OK but I don't think I will buy again unless I have to. Will stick to Waitrose Organic/Ayrshire which comes in decent packaging, is better quality than this and is cheaper.
The family loves it
Superior creamy taste. Organic, non-homogenised, healthy milk for our family with 2 toddlers. Creaminess is just perfect for our coffees. Packaging - needs to take your time when pouring. It's not rocket science. Unless you have mobility issues, then that may pose a challenge. But, any step towards helping the environment is always a welcome change, esp if it comes with but a little inconvenience. The only other milk I can compare it too is a locally produced and sadly that's not always available.
thought it was raw milk - its not
This is fine - Im not convinced it is better than homogenised milk. I actually thought I was buying raw milk, but apparently thats only something you can get locally - so I was disappointed as wasnt getting the health benefits I thought I was getting.
Poor packaging
The milk is lovely but the packaging is terrible. It doesn't seal back up, it spills and all the cream gets stuck and you can't mix it up with the milk to get it out.
Creamy milk
Love this milk. It's not messed around with like the other milk and it has that layer of cream just like milk had years ago
