Chloroxylenol 4.8% w/v
Dettol Liquid is an effective concentrated antiseptic solution that kills bacteria and protects against the germs which can cause infection and illness. It can be used for antiseptic cleansing of minor wounds caused by cuts, bites, grazes, insect stings; for dandruff, spots and pimples and if medically advised, for personal hygiene.

Preparation and Usage
Wound cleansing: Wash the affected area with two and a half teaspoons (12.5ml) of Dettol liquid diluted in 1/2 pint (1/4 litre) water. Cover with dry gauze or lint.
Personal hygiene/douching: When medically advised: Two teaspoons (10mls) in 2 pints (1L) water.
Dandruff: One tablespoon in 1pt (1/2 L) warm water. Pour over scalp. Leave for 10 mins before shampooing.
Spots and pimples: One tablespoon (15ml) in 1/2 pt (1/4 L) of warm water. Bathe affected area daily.

- after the expiry date printed on the bottle.

If contact is made with the eyes: Wash them thoroughly with cold water. If swallowed, wash out mouth and drink plenty of water or milk. In both cases, consult a doctor and take this bottle with you.

The best
Love this smells so clean cleans well house smells so fresh too
Beware! Not pet safe.
The back of the bottle clearly states not for use around cats. The listing on Ocado is lengthy and repeats most of the details from the bottle, but not this one, which would be useful to know before buying, especially as I bet a lot of the stronger disinfectants are bought by pet owners. Apart from that it smells like Dettol always used to and is no doubt still great for killing germs - I just would prefer not to kill the family pet at the same time!!

big bottle&great disinfectant
Cant go wrong with Dettol and this is so versatile. Diluted in a spray bottle or neat it just gives you peace of mind compared to other pine disinfectants. If you use diluted a big bottle like this will last a wile even if you use it daily. It does have a very distinct Dettol smell some people love it others not do much I love it as it just smells like everything you wipe down is clean and hygienic. Diluted on a cotton bud its great at drying out a random spot aswell!
Good, but expires too soon
Thought we'll be sorted for several years, but expires in a year so way too big if you only need for cleaning wounds
