Awful when compared to sachet

This sauce isn't a patch on the carbonara in the sachet, which Ocado have stopped stocking. By comparison, this stir in sauce tastes artificial and has a chemical flavour. I won't be buying this again. Shame the pouch version isn't available now.

chemical taste and residue in mouth

it was my favourite but they changed the recipe and now it's vile. it has a chemical taste and leaves a residue in mouth.

Quick and easy

Lots of bad reviews for this so thought Id leave my own comments. I really like these. Yes its a pre-made sauce with a long date but its great for keeping in the cupboard. Good for those days when you dont have anything for dinner or just fancy something quick and easy. Yes, the fresh ones that live in the fridge or homemade ones will taste better but for a long-life sauce its not bad.

Handy in a pinch

Good for a small pasta snack. If you want more then you'll need more than one tub. But good for a lazy lunch. Obviously making it yourself is going to be better, but that's not what these exist for!

Not worth the money

This is bland and very artificial tasting. It could be handy to take camping if you were desperate but lots of strong cheese is required to make it palatable.
