You Give We Give 5 GBP

Product information
We've been working with social enterprises, charities, food bank partners and other initiatives committed to redistributing as much food as possible and reducing food poverty in the UK, for several years.
We match your donations then convert the total to groceries, then distribute to our charity partners. So, for every pound you give, our partners receive two pounds worth of groceries.
And that's how small donations can have a huge effect.
Terms & Conditions
1. Choose how much you'd like to donate: £2.50, £5, or £10.
2. Add your donation to your trolley, do your weekly shop and check out as usual.
3. We'll match the value of all donations received per week. For example: if you add a £10 voucher to your shop, we'll add another £10 to that which results in us giving £20 worth of groceries.
4. Total donations will then be converted into groceries and distributed to our charity partners.
5. Partners are all registered charities or social enterprises and grocery donations are made at our discretion.
6. The cost of purchase will not contribute towards the minimum spend of your order.

Accountability and Reporting
I happily contribute to this concept however there seems to be no accountability reporting that the money /products/food is delivered and to what charities.
Kind idea
It's kind of Ocado to match your donation and it goes to people who need it, especially when times are becoming harder for all, in particular families.
I think this is a good idea
Have been giving to food banks this way for a long time now but used to get an update on total amount raised and charities helped. I haven’t had one for quite a while now
An excellent gesture by Ocado
I donated £5. In a time of peace and goodwill, this Ocado Food Bank idea is full of Xmas spirit. At a time when nurses and train workers are earning on average over £35,000 pa and spoiling people's lives, it is a sobering thought that the silent poorest people in our Society so desperately need food banks. Happy Xmas to all, especially Ocado and the many people struggling to find enough money for food---and to those who donate money into this wonderful Ocado scheme.
seems a great idea but..
'donations will be converted into groceries'.. I have started giving money directly to my local food bank as this suggests customers who buy this may be subsidising surplus stock being sent to food banks.
Good idea but which charities?
Which charities though?
