Unpleasant
Not for me - the product is quite hard so you really have to drag it across your skin, quite forcefully, and this in a warm house!
Not invisible, marks clothes: please bring back th
Like another reviewer, for years I used the white-capped roll on version of this, which was both effective and invisible. Since it was discontinued we have tried several other invisible roll-ons which have indeed been invisible but are short-lasting and ineffective deodorants, including the Dove one with the black cap. So I thought Id try this solid version of my old good Dove roll-on. This one is an effective deodorant but is not invisible at all. I have white marks over all my clothes. So I wont be buying again. If any customer can recommend a non-marking AND effective roll-on, my family and I would be grateful! Dove said they discontinued the old one due to lack of demand Im finding that hard to believe given the difficulty in finding a similarly effective product. Please, Ocado: lobby Dove to bring their superior product out of retirement!
Smells like loo cleaner & I'm sadly allergic
Smells like toilet cleaner. And I'm not sure what ingredient in almost all stick deodorants I'm super allergic to, but whatever it is, it's in this one as well. So I'll be walking around like a Wild West gunslinger for the next few days.
Itchy but effective
I used to use the roll on version of this, but they've stopped making it, so I tried this. It works for me (most deodorants don't) but it makes me itchy! After years and years finding a deodorant that works and doesn't upset my perfume allergies I'm gutted that they've stopped making the roll on version and this stick version is itchy. So fed up. It doesn't smell much, which is good, it works for me, but I don't think I can keep using it without scratching my itchy armpits!!! Please bring back the old roll on version of this.
Not great
I'd used the Invisible roll-on for years but Ocado seem to have stopped selling it. So I tried this stick version instead. Initially I thought it was great. Until, despite not winding it up too much, the whole stick disintegrated leaving sticky bits all over the shower room floor (that was a job and a half to clear up) and an empty bit of plastic in my hand. Also I then realised that it was heavily marking my black tops (so not invisible) which the roll-on didn't do. I'll have to see if I can find the roll-on version elsewhere.
moisturising
Been using mens aerosol deodorant for years as I liked the smell, but was getting itchy arm pits. No more, this is gentle and moisturising and I have to assume, better for my skin. Gentle perfume as well - Im a convert!
