Great products for hand wash and laundry detergent
I have been using this for years (usually buy the unscented and add my own oils . The best hand/body/Face wash is to buy a foam dispenser, fill to a third with this and then top up with cooled boiled water. Works perfectly every time, uses less product and never clogs anything up (you can also add some essential oil depending on what its being used for). Can also be used for laundry detergent but thats another recipe.
Dangerously cloggy
It clogs up very quickly. I put it in a pump dispenser in the kitchen, useless, it clogs up within a few hours of use and you get soap squirting everywhere except on your hands. This morning it went straight into my eye and boy does it sting! Do not buy if you want to use a pump dispenser. Smell is ok but weak.
My Favourite Dr.Bronner Scent
This soap is divine, the perfect start to your morning. It's zesty, rich but equally not overpowering. I'm not sure that its fair to judge the quality of a product on the fact it occasionally clogs up a tiny dispensing hole. That's the nature of castille soap in general - and the fact its made of natural or organic ingredients, does an excellent cleaning job, and is multi-purpose completely outweighs any such "concerns".
Brilliant, and ticks lots of eco boxes
The price per bottle of this wonderful soap seems high but you need to factor in that you dilute it before use (about 1 part soap to 3 of water). Once diluted I use it in the Method foaming hand wash bottles. The result is lemony scented foam which washes hands effectively and goes a long, long way. Every time I refill I poke something thin into the spout of the pump to declog it, then it's good for another couple of weeks. In fact, this soap gets used for more than just hands - if I'm quickly washing something in the kitchen sink I'll just use the Castile soap, rather than bothering to get the Ecover washing up liquid out from under the sink. It's not often I ask for more fragrance in a product, but I would like it if they could make the lemon scent stronger.
Never again
This substance makes viscous plugs and residuals everywhere. It blocks each soap dispenser you put it in.
