Vanilla is a flavour enhancer often used in chocolate and confectionery. Why not try adding it to other flavoured bakes such as chocolate, raspberry or banana, to bring out the sweetness and creamy flavours.
Suitable for vegetarians
Preparation and Usage
Unscrew cap and remove foil seal.
Squeeze tube gently to dispense.
As a guide use one teaspoon of Madagascan Vanilla Bean Paste to replace one teaspoon of extract or one vanilla pod.
For easier dispensing and measuring use a hot metal spoon.
Wipe tube nozzle with a damp cloth after use and replace cap tightly.

Not bad for the price
This vanilla is great in cakes etc
it's good value.
I used to use the 'higher quality' one on here but to be honest I've not noticed any difference on any of my bakes. maybe snob value is the reason people diss this one!
it works well
Cant criticise this product, though it contains syrup, its tricky to suspend vanilla in anything else, and I dont like the alcohol based alternatives. Unless buying pods, I think this is excellent value and flavour. Works in cakes, cream, icing etc. or home made custard.
Lacking in flavour
Really lacking in flavour and depth. Poor value for money.
Very Little Vanilla
Lots of sugar with very little vanilla flavour. Nielsen Massey seesm to be the only way to get actual vanilla flavour.
very poor product, not Oetker like
This is an atypical product for Oetker. Sugar syrup with a few molecules of vanilla. I could not believe this when opening. We went to the closest supermarket and bought again a Nielsen-Massey product which is a completely different league
