Too much Star anise!

Opened this and smelt an overpoweringly strong smell of star anise. It is one of the main ingredients. Not seen garam masala with it in before, gives it a Chinese 5 spice like smell. Threw it in the bin!

We keep in an old jar to keep fresh but this will last us ages and so much cheaper than mini spice jars

Great value and very tasty.

I use a lot of this spice so I was delighted to have found this Garam Masala thats very tasty and great value.
