Preparation and Usage
Measure 300g of East End Chapatti Flour into a bowl. Gradually add just enough cold water to make a stiff dough. Knead dough for 3-4 minutes and place into a bowl. Leave in fridge for 1/2 hour. Divide dough into 4 or 5 evenly sized balls, take each ball and roll it out to desired thickness (usually 2-4mm). Meanwhile heat a frying pan over a medium heat. Place flattened dough in the frying pan and gently heat each chapatti, turning several times, until golden brown. Make sure that the chapatti is cooked from within. Rub a few drops of oil or East End Pure Butter Ghee.
East End Chapattis are delicious with East End Saag and many other East End dishes.

Best ever
Excellent product
live insects and string
We have used this atta for years and after going through 2/3 of the latest bag, I sifted the remaining flour and found 2 types of live insects and what looks like string and other things. Absolutely appalled and never ordering this, again.
Best of the best!
Lovely flour for making roti. Secret is to keep dough stiff. Leave in fridge for at least 30 minutes, if not longer. Then before use, knead it again. Makes amazing soft roti. I have been making roti for over 50 years, and this is the best flour I have ever used. A staple purchase!
good but MASIVE
this was an amazing product but it was very BIG will last you 36 lifetimes
Best atta out there
Agree with the other reviews that this does seem a little on the white / light brown side, but they make such lovely soft chapatti's.
makes nice soft chapati and parata
This is now our staple chapati and parata flour. They come out nice, soft and fluffy!
