Preparation and Usage

Usage Instructions: Please remove wrapper and place tablet in dispenser. Do not place the tablet into the cutlery basket. If water hardness is above 20 (degrees symbol) dH add normal dishwasher salt. Preferably run the machine on eco-mode. Only place dishwasher safe material in your dishwasher - no wood, silver, aluminium, tin, copper, antiques, hand painted ceramics, certain types of plastics. In case of doubt wash the item by hand with Ecover washing-up liquid. Dosage for soft water: 1 tablet. The wrapper protects the tablets against moisture and is recyclable where facilities exist. The product is most effective at 50°c.

Results not good enough

there is almost always residue in some of the items (glasses and plates)

good

Bought these recently for the first time and I was very happy with them, they cleaned my dishes well, no complaint at all. I agree with the previous reviewer that they shouldnt be individually wrapped, thats not ecological at all.

individually wrapped in plastic

Bought these because my usual eco zone tablets were out of stock and was sad to see that they are individually wrapped in plastic less eco than you might think.

Good but would prefer without perfume

We’ve used these for years and up to now, they’ve always worked pretty well for us. We have a very good Bosch dishwasher and I’m very particular about getting as much residue off the plates before putting them in the dishwasher. I’m sure this makes a big difference in the final result as whenever my husband or his mother load the dishwasher up, we sometimes end up with grit (she’s used to the nasty chemical laden stuff that dissolves even concrete). So if you’re careful about not putting in the plates with the bits of food left on them, you probably will find these good. My gripe though is: why does an eco company like Ecover STILL use perfumes?? A few drops of essential oils is one thing but synthetic smelling perfumes is unacceptable. The same goes for their washing up liquids which I’ve now stopped using because of that. Come on Ecover, go back to your truly eco roots

Don't clean and leave residue

I honestly don't like dissing a eco friendly product, and usually I get on fine with Ecover's stuff. However, these dishwasher tablets are just terrible. They don't clean properly and after having used nearly the entire box, there is a residue on all of the plates and glasses that we use most - i.e. which see the inside of the machine most often. Sorry, they're rubbish.
