Pleasant makes a nice change to a Sauvignon Blanc!
Pleasant and very drinkable makes a nice change to a Sauvignon Blanc!
Live up to Mosel Riesling reputation
Contrary to well known sweetly graded Riesling from Mosel, this Trocken (dry) is dry Riesling with a hint of pleasant sweetness - normally I am not a fan of any sweetness in wine. Aromatic, as typical Riesling, which at first not so appealing but developed beautifully to flowery breathas continued. Enchanting.
Not really all that dry
A decent wine, but I found it too sweet for a dry Riesling. And despite the description claiming it had "a long acidity final", I felt acidity was what was missing to offset the sweetness.
Great Riesling
Have enjoyed this wine a few times now. Hint of sweetness and not acidic. Loads of flavour and a decent price especially when on offer. Works well with food but also nice by itself.
A lovely Riesling.
Riesling is my favourite wine. This is a great example of Riesling, dry, crisp with a slight mineral tang. Dry and crisp, goes fabulously well with fish and Chinese/oriental dishes.
Not for me
I prefer the other Rieslings in this collection - this one is not as nice!
