Not nice
Taste of wine is overpowering.
So easy!
Tastes amazing, and it is so so easy to prepare. You can make it posh and do fondue properly, or you can just dump it on anything. Our family loves just drizzling it over oven chips when we are busy!
easy fondue
Effortless fondue, always has a long use by date too so a handy option to keep in fridge
its alright
Not the best fondue Ive ever had but it was totally passable for when you cant be bothered to do it yourself.
what was that?
I had fondue for Christmas Eve for more than 50 years. Homemade, mixtures from cheesemongers, mixtures from Migros or Denner.. and Emmy. Emmy was always okay. Not the best but will do. It is now Christmas Eve and we never had anything like this. Sour, alcoholic, no cheese taste and the consistency of cheese soup. A thin soup. In my desperation I added grated Gruyère, a whole camembert and then potato flour. No change. It was awful. We all stopped after a few bites. This is not wonderful balanced melted cheese supported by bread. This was wet bread . Tasting sour. Awful. Awful. And quite frankly, a disgrace.
we couldnt eat it
The alcohol flavour was so strong, bitter, and sickly we just couldnt eat it And we both enjoy a wide range of alcohol (probably too much at times) - but it was still enough to totally ruin it for both of us.
