glossy and shiny
I read the reviews and thought I would give it a go. I don't normally paint black on my own nails as it's too messy, I go to the nail shop. The brush is flatter and larger than normal so glides on easier. 2 coats is enough for a deep black and it shines. A top coat will make it glossier and last longer but not essential. Happy I won't have to pay at the nail shop now
Gorgeous
Easy to apply perfect consistency & lovely wide brush. Colour is true and the finish is perfect. Gorgeous nail polish. Only issue is my daughter pilfered it so I now need another bottle!
A great black polish and nice wide brush
I usually find black and other very dark polishes quite tricky to apply neatly. I used this Essie polish on my toes and have to agree with another reviewer that it goes on well and gives a good coverage even with only one coat. I used two and followed it with a top coat to make it last. I have a tip for when you accidentally get the polish on the skin round your toe nails - dont faff about with a cotton bud dipped in acetone instead soak your feet in warm water - I just use a couple of inches in the bottom of the bath. After about three or four minutes you can scrape away any excess with your finger nails. It leaves a really neat finish. Then just add your top coat.
Saturated
Some polishes are watery and you have to apply several coats before you can really appreciate the colour. I used mine on acrylic nails. One coat wouldve been enough but two gave it a lovely opaque finish. Dries quickly and feels smooth. I didnt notice any chipping, flaking or dullness after two weeks.
