lovely stuff
All the Faith in Nature shower gels are brilliant. They’re mild and don’t strip your skin or sting your eyes and they all smell amazing.
Nasty
Most shower gels manage to wash you well enough, it's a basic so I tend to choose them based on smell. This falls down on both of those. It smells of harsh cleaning chemicals and unfortunately that harshness goes beyond just the smell. When I washed my face with it my nostrils felt they were being stripped. I've actually thrown it away after using it just twice. I've never done that with a shower gel ever before.
not cedar!
Smells nothing like cedar, this has an odd sweet smell. Others in the range are good and have ingredients related to what they are described as! This doesnt. Avoid.
Very strange smell
The type of product I end up with via online shopping and which I wouldnt buy if I had the chance to smell it first. Very odd and Im usually a fan of FiN.
Expensive but justified
It's a more expensive product but the higher price is easily justified. The smell is natural, woody and manly, it cleans well without being too harsh nor drying, can be used in the shower as a body wash or pour into a running bath for a foamy soak, the scent released when bathing is therapeutic
Natural, No. Nice Smelling, Yes.
This was a review item. M Bleu has now used it and so have I. He was lukewarm in his assessment after I said I had tried it myself. Trusting the term 'nature' was my first mistake, and the second was using it on hair and body. I was certainly rather startled when my clean hairbrush started fizzing with detergent after washing and thoroughly rinsing my hair! My fault, having been asked to review it, for not reading the ingredients until after I used it. It's a tricky business, reviewing! Alas, this Blue Cedar shower gel is a trickster's product.
