Il Casolare is an unfiltered extra virgin olive oil. You may, therefore, see a small amount of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. For best results, shake the bottle before using.
Extra Virgin olive oils are best served at room temperature. Il Casolare is delicious when used as a base for marinades, vinaigrettes and dressings. Enjoy by dipping in crusty bread or drizzling over pizza.

Love the taste
I love the taste but price is getting a bit high
Really good
This is really good oil. Expensive but good quality and worth it
Farmers need to be paid!
This is a lovely product and Ill still buy it, but due to poor harvests of olives, cacao etc, etc, due to climate change, many prices have had to increase to pay the farmers a fair price too! We all need to think about the food chain.
its 13.40 at Tesco too
I love it.
Outrageous price hike!
Have been buying ll Casolare for years as I prefer to use unfiltered olive oil and we re-use the lovely bottles...however the recent price hike is just outrageous. I notice that M&S now have their own unfiltered olive oil for sale....does this have something to do with it??? Can buy ll Casolarein Tesco and Sainsburys for £10.75 ! Why should anyone pay you £13.40? As someone else pointed out, it's very disrespectful to your customers.
Great unfiltered olive oil\-but expensive
I prefer to use an unfiltered olive oil because of health benefits. But such a shame this has gone up by nearly £3. It was my regular olive oil but will now only use it occasionally.
