Botanically Brewed isn't a trendy label we use for marketing; it's the technique of making premium quality drinks, that has been handed from generation to generation of the Fentimans family since 1905.
In fact, it's Botanical Brewing that sets us apart from other carbonated drinks. It's our point of difference that underpins the Fentimans brand promise and delivers unsurpassed quality: characterised by a rich depth of flavour, silky mouthfeel and luxurious body.

Best tonic water but not at ocado prices
I get this from a big well known supermarket brand beginning with S.....With a nectar card at £1.50 a bottle. Don't judge the actual tonic water by far more expenses prices such as here but i've had to give 2 stars for the very best supermarket shelf tonic water out there.
Citric Acid tonic
Im a big fan of Fentimans but this was a fail for me. Mediocre tonic water distinguished only by the taste of lots of Citric acid.
Too dry for me
Oddly more calories than Fevertree but much less sweet. It might work ok as a mixer, but I drink it neat and it's not great.
Crisp, dry, unobtrusive tonic.
Sometimes I like tonic water as a drink on its own. This brand is not one I could enjoy in its own right as the flavour would be just too subtle. That, however, is its strength when it is used as a mixer. There is no dominant flavour profile which could overpower a gin - or any other spirit - but rather it serves to enhance the drink. I am very fond of parma violet flavoured gin and I've found it difficult to find a tonic water which doesn't "fight" with it or change the flavour profile. The mix of Fentiman's Connoisseurs Tonic Water and Parma Violet Gin is my new favourite. This mixer produces a fresh, crisp, refreshing drink which helps the gin retain its "dry" quality.
maybe Covid has ruined my taste!
This ruined my gin, one of the only alcoholic drinks I can tolerate since suffering from Covid. Tasted bitter so will avoid until Ive fully recovered!
Surprisingly good
We usually drink Fever Tree but tried this for a change. It gave a very clean dry G&T (with Sipsmith) which was really enjoyable. The large bottle is not ideal but will definitely buy again
