Perfect for quick meal!

Love using this for a quick pesto pasta! Jar is quite small but a little goes a long way!

RENNET!

Yuk, rennet. Why do they need to use scrapings from baby cow stomachs, when the other brands dont!

odd taste

Daughter would live of pesto, so I buy loads, whatever is on offer really and because we have a local so close we also get Sainsburys own brand (£1.25 for 190g). She disliked this Filippo Berio so much she couldn't eat it, Dad said, give it here I'll try... even he didn't like it! Maybe a bad batch?????

Odd taste

Disappointed with this. It has an odd, slightly metallic taste. As though made with dried basil (which is loathsome) or pine nuts that are past their best. I was surprised because I generally find FB to be a very reliable, quality brand.
