WATERY
Do not use this for tiramisu. I am a reasonably good cook and as one of my deserts was tiramisu I decided to buy this as was on offer and a known make. I usually read reviews, but did not on this occasion and I was so disappointed at how my tiramisu, which I have made many times before, turned out. It was runny, in fact horrible. I mixed it with fresh raspberries on top so managed to bluff my way out of a disaster with my guests. On looking at the reviews the Ocado own brand comes out best. Avoid this product.
Tasteless
Found this popular brand to be tasteless comparing to Ocado own brand.
always the best
The Galbani is excellent, like they have in Italy. I use it all the time instead of thick cream, in sauces and dessert. It actually taste like mascarpone and not grease.
Crumbly not creamy
Very weird mascarpone. Couldn't get my usual brand and thought they were all much of a muchness. This one isn't creamy at all and separated when mixed with vanilla paste. I hate waste but had to chuck it. It might be fine if heated but can't recommend it for uncooked desserts. Unless I got a dud pot.
Lovely
Smooth and naturally sweet. Nice replacement for cream in custards.
Best mascarpone out there
