For Italians living without pasta is not an option and so we set ourselves the objectives of creating a gluten free pasta with the knowledge that Garofalo pasta is synonymous with the experience of taste.
In 2013 the recipe was carefully developed using corn, brown rice and quinoa. Garofalo Gluten Free Pasta is formulated specially for Coeliacs and the gluten intolerant, but also gives a taste opportunity for everyone and not just those on a gluten free diet.
Garofalo Gluten Free pasta is not produced in its factory in Gragnano because of the risk of contamination with pasta containing wheat. Our gluten free pasta is bronze drawn to obtain a rough surface to the pasta for the sauce to grip the pasta.
In 2013 we launched with 5 pasta shapes chosen because they worked well with the recipe, now there are 11 gluten free pasta shapes in our range, giving great choice as well as taste!

fantastic in soups
Makes wonderful minestrone for gf. Also spaghetti hoops in tomato sauce for a treat :) they also last a long while so value for money
Great
As anyone who is Coeliac knows it's difficult to get any GF spaghetti in a can, with these you can make your own, and every bit as nice as the market leader.
Great for soups
Great pasta for soups and healthy. Texture is not so different from the wheat ones.
Impressed
Held it's shape well in chicken soup and it was tasty, well done Garofalo
tastes good, but expensive
Im very happy to eat this, slightly firmer texture than regular pasta, but its a more than adequate replacement. However, I can buy a bag of equally good gf pasta in Tesco for 99p. Come on Ocado, lets have an own brand budget buster, please?
Coeliac thumbs up
Garofalo gluten free pasta is the best and never sticks together if you cook in a pan of boiling water with a little salt and a tbsp olive oil. I use this pasta in homemade minestrone soup, and its lovely. I also use it to make gluten free spaghetti hoops! Cook 100g of these little O-shaped pasta then add it to a sauce made up of a tin of tomato passata, 2 tbsp cream cheese (Philadelphia or Violife Creamy work well), a big pinch of onion powder, a big pinch of garlic salt and a tsp of paprika and voila, your own tomato spaghetti hoops. Yum.
