Love this size Penne!
I would describe this pasta as being the same diameter as penne but shorter in length. I bought it the first time by accident, but now its a regular purchase. The pasta size is great for all ages to eat (not too small, not too big) perfect for meaty sauces, pasta salads and pasta bakes. Much prefer this size to regular penne as you can cook a small amount in a flash in a slightly smaller pan than you would its bigger penne sibling. Please keep stocking this Ocado!
What? But as the product WAS designed to do!
LOL! Know your pasta? This "small" version is WHAT makes it so great, deliberate so to allow the rich sauce to "stick" and absorb into the pasta, making it great and make this way for years! Enjoy, but yes a little pricey; sorry could not help myself!
weirdly small
It tastes fine, but why are the tubes so small? I had to double check I hadnt accidentally bought a product meant for kids. Each tube is about half the length of a normal penne tube so you dont get the same mouth feel as normal pasta. But disappointing.
A cupboard staple
Such a necessity in your store cupboard. The best all-round pasta for young and old.
great for little one
Great size for my 22month old to feed himself.
It's Pasta
I don't know that this is any better than other makes such as shop's own. It is shorter as others have said. Tastes ok. I had to guess the cooking time because some bright spark put the label with the English translation over the cooking instructions. Well done whoever did that. It's 11 minutes according to the info on the website but it would be handier on the packaging.
